Charge two different types of battery simultaneously with this 30 Amp Solar Charge Controller from Zamp Solar.
This 5-Stage Pulse-Width Modulation charger regulates the energy produced by your solar panels and automatically ensures that your batteries are charged and properly maintained. Don't let poor battery management destroy your investment in batteries! The five different charging stages ensure that your batteries will be properly charged at all times and levels of charge.
5 Stage Charging:
- Soft Charge: When batteries suffer an over-discharge, the controller will softly ramps the battery voltage up to 10V.
- Bulk Charge: Maximum-current charging until batteries rise to 85% charge.
- Absorption Charge: Constant voltage charging when battery is over 85%.
- Equalization Charge: *Only for WET battery or Calcium battery type.* When the battery is deeply drained below 11.5V, it will automatically run this stage to bring the internal cells to equal states and fully complement the loss of capacity. (Gel and AGM battery do not run Equalization charge)
- Float Charge: Battery is safely maintained at the 100% level, holding more than 13.6 Volts.
