We believe the T1N Sprinter family has earned respect as a reliable, effecient base for a camper van. To show our admiration for this platform, we're designing and manufacturing accessories specifically built for the T1N series. The first of the T1N accessory line is this simple tire carrier.
Details
This sturdy-yet-light tire carrier mounts to the factory holes in the door hinges and door skin- no welding or drilling needed.
Installation can be done in less than an hour: open the door, remove the inner door panel, unbolt the two screws holding the magnetic bumper to the door, then install the carrier using the hardware provided before reattaching the inner door panel.
With the carrier installed, the door will still be capable of opening 180* (sideways) and locking in the front-to-back position.
The carrier is made with pride in the USA from thick-wall steel tubing purchased from local suppliers.
